Welcome to CT6!
Dear Colleagues and Student Interfaith Leaders,
The University of Chicago is excited to be hosting Coming Together 6, an interfaith student leadership conference, Thursday February 14 to Sunday February 17, 2013.
Colleagues in religious and spiritual life, we invite you to nominate up to three student leaders from your university or college to attend CT6. As at previous CT conferences, registration, accommodation, and all meals are provided for your students; you simply provide their transportation to and from Chicago.
Students, we invite you to embark on an interfaith leadership journey over the course of three days that will leave you inspired. Highlights include a Yuval Ron Ensemble concert and workshop; a reception at the internationally recognized Oriental Institute Museum, and a special jazz reception/multifaith event at Rockefeller Chapel. There will be multiple sessions for you to choose from over the course of each day, with spiritual practice, artistic involvement, and student-led and faculty-led presentations and workshops.
The Spiritual Life Office and the Spiritual Life Council are working to ensure that you leave this conference with new ideas to enhance interfaith work on your campus. We invite you to join your peers from around the country, near and far, to a coming together experience that will engage your mind, body, soul, and spirit.
CT6 is open to undergraduate and graduate student leaders. We hope that you will find it to be engaging and transformative!
