Hillel Reform Community

The Hillel Reform Community is a great way for all students, whether they are of the Reform Jewish faith or not, to come to services and other programs hosted through Hillel. Reform services will be held once or twice a month, and there will also be other events such as discussions and community service opportunities.

LGBTQ+ Jewish students are invited to join Hillel’s Queer Book Club! We meet a few times a quarter based on members’ availability. We also do social programs such as study breaks and movie nights, open to queer students and allies regardless of religious affiliation.

JGrads is the University’s Jewish organization for graduate students. Our organization facilitates cultural, spiritual, social, and professional events, as well as networking and other forms of support, to Jewish graduate students regardless of one’s level of observance.

UCAI aims to be an inclusive, pro-active, and pro-Israel voice that promotes open dialogue about Israeli history, culture, and politics at the UChicago campus. We advocate for the existence of the Jewish and democratic state. We work to build relationships with various on and off campus partners in order to form a more educated and informed pro-Israel community. UCAI holds meetings on a bi-weekly or weekly schedule.
