Spiritual Life Council

Students: if you’re looking for the opportunity to engage in interfaith action at the University of Chicago, you’ve come to the right place.

Who we are

The Spiritual Life Council is the student advisory board for Spiritual Life. It’s a group of student leaders, undergraduates and graduates from diverse religious, spiritual, and philosophical perspectives who gather regularly to build relationships with each other and address spiritual diversity on campus.

What we do

The council meets bi-weekly over lunch (yes, food!) to discuss how students experience their religious/spiritual identity on and off campus and communicate opportunities for collaboration.

Want to get involved?

  • Ask your student organization to cosponsor an interfaith event with the Spiritual Life Council.
  • Ask about joining Spiritual Life Council for the 2017–18 academic year! Meetings begin the second week of the autumn quarter.
  • Questions? Contact Jigna Shah.
