Muslims in Business

Muslims in Business (MIB) is an affinity group for Muslim students and for students interested in learning about Islam. The club provides Muslims with means to preserve their identity. MIB facilitates meetings, discussions and celebrations of Islamic holidays among all students. MIB also promotes friendly relations among Boothies and provides opportunities for Muslims and non-Muslims to learn about Islam in Business in the form of lunch and learns, alumni panels, lectures, art workshops, and more. We welcome students from all religious backgrounds.

Muslim Law Students Association

The Muslim Law Students Association (MLSA) offers a wide range of programming to satisfy the diverse social, cultural, religious, and intellectual needs of Muslim students. The MLSA strives to introduce the Law School community to issues of importance to Muslims worldwide. We sponsor speakers on issues such as Islamic legal topics, church-state issues, and civil rights. In order to achieve this we will invite civil rights lawyers, public officials, and prominent academics from across the nation.

The Muslim Students Association (MSA) at UChicago is a community space for Muslim students to connect, grow in their faith, and support one another throughout their time on campus. We host a range of spiritual, educational, and social programs including weekly halaqas, Friday prayers, service projects, and community socials that aim to uplift and unite. Whether you’re looking for a strong spiritual network, a place to make friends, or just a space to feel at home, MSA is here for you. All students are welcome.

Prayer Rooms in Ida Noyes lower level and in the Regenstein Library’s B-Level are open daily for individual and group use during building hours, with a valid University ID for access. For access, email spirit@uchicago.edu.
